Undying love/Invite Only - Jayaire Woods

Steven Luster

Jayaire visually opens this video with a family vibe of togetherness and fellowship as a harbinger of what’s to come. Everyone should be thankful for something, even in the face of hardship. Jayaire lays it all out there: the good, the bad, the sacrifices, and the risks it took to get to the place he is. This two part piece will have you appreciating all the people who support you unconditionally while acknowledging the deterrents in life were only stepping stones to where we’re going.

The most important point of all is that we still involved. The most egregious part about it is the ones who doubted. The most annoying piece was when they tried to muzzle.”

Nothing is guaranteed in life so it means a lot when we can keep growing with the solid ones. Whether we know each other or not, someone doubting you can impede your success if you allow it. You can't allow one to change your voice or your platform, build on your buzz organically and one day you'll be loved right.

This love is sounding like a flash drive, so many moments I’ll never erase. This love is sounding like a Ferris wheel it keep me spinning in place.

If this doesn’t make you want to hold on tight to the ones still with you and strive through the rough parts, we just might not relate.

Jayaire, going into the second part, switches flow seamlessly dousing his verses with metaphors like “bitches is birds and niggas is tweets, tell it to Twitter ain’t say it to me” overall I was impressed with how consistently hard Jayaire goes to improve himself. “With the weight of the world today when things start to bother me I found myself searching for peace” He can easily show you where he came from, where he is, and where he’s going. The Wood is small but offers so much culture and you get that from the food, diverse demographics, and of course the music. “Quick to remember I'm still in the village.”

In all, Jayaire has come with another strong song and an infectious video by Drewskifilms. Sometimes words don’t tell it all but I’m ecstatic to see that he’s still going hard after the buzz. Continually proving his true artistry and staying true to the ones that matter. Accepting all the negativity that comes his way knowing he’ll come out on top. Jayaire looks to shake things up the rest of this year so definitely look out.
